This program aims to contribute to attracting more foreign tourists by suggesting a new paradigm for tourism.
Providing differentiated Hallyu content through collaboration
Seoul City has prepared a Hallyu experiential tourism program in cooperation with various companies representing Hallyu. This program provides differentiated experiences to foreign tourists by including various elements such as popular culture, beauty, Korean food, and traditional culture. This program is scheduled to run until November, and experts from various fields will participate to provide high-level education and experience.
Educational tourism program for foreign youth, ‘K-Culture Camp’
Seoul City and specialized entertainment companies located in Seoul are collaborating to operate a new ‘K-Culture Camp’ where foreign youth can gain special educational tourism experiences in Seoul. This program aims to go beyond simply visiting famous places and provide experiences through learning. It provides opportunities for foreign youth to combine their studies and travel, thereby activating educational tourism (runcation).
Various experiential programs
'K-Culture Camp' consists of three main programs. First, there is the 'K-Pop Training Camp', which is conducted under the guidance of famous artists. Second, there is the 'K-Pop Dream Camp', where you can experience idol makeup, etc., and lastly, there is the 'Fashion Catwalk Camp', where you can directly participate in the Seoul Fashion Show. Each program is operated in a customized manner according to the participants' interests and abilities.
Free Hallyu experience programs conducted in English
All Hallyu experience programs operated in Seoul are conducted in English, and any foreign tourist visiting Korea can participate for free.
